Data Architect | Engineer | On-Prem

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Architect | Engineer in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, In this role, you will be taking a hands-on approach in rebuilding our On-Prem data warehouse before transitioning to cloud technologies. Your main tasks will be centered around data warehousing, with a specific focus on fact and dimension tables, and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) tools. Responsibilities: Design and manage the on-premises data warehouse, ensuring its smooth operation. Develop and implement stored procedures to enhance the efficiency of data operations. Utilize SSIS as an ETL tool to extract, transform, and load data. Work closely with the data engineer to solve complex data-related issues. Leverage your knowledge of SSAS to analyze large volumes of data and support business intelligence applications. Utilize the star schema data model for organizing large amounts of data into a hierarchical structure. Ensure the accurate processing and maintenance of customer credit applications and records. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on the data analysis. Use Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake for cloud data processing and storage. Support the transition from on-premises data warehouse to cloud (Azure) platforms.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Data Architect or Engineer Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is mandatory Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake is required Expertise in Data Warehousing and Data Warehousing - Mart is necessary Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (BI DW) is essential Strong understanding of Data Architecture is required Must have experience in SQL Stored Procedures and Stored Procedures Proficiency in SSIS - SQL Server Integration Services and SSIS ETL is a must Familiarity with SQL server management studio is mandatory Experience with SSRS - SQL Server Reporting Services is required Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, MS SQL Server, SQL Server, and SQL Server Analysis is necessary Experience with SSAS - SQL Server Analysis Services is required.
